Heroes

Heroes is a series of four films, each following an unnamed protagonist in an American desert city as they plan, rehearse, and perpetrate an act of atrocity.

The first depicts an incident of consensual homicide in Elko, Nevada. The second observes the systems and routines surrounding a high school teacher’s sexual abuse of her student. The third recreates the circumstances preceding a woman’s self-recorded murder and mutilation of an ex-boyfriend. The last is a work of speculative fiction set in a Las Vegas hotel suite, where a popular male fantasy finds its ultimate expression.
