Heroes

Heroes is a series of four films, each following an unnamed protagonist in an American desert city as they plan, rehearse, and perpetrate a violent act.

The first depicts an incident of consensual homicide in Elko, Nevada. The second observes the systems and routines surrounding a high school teacher’s sexual abuse of her student. The third recreates the circumstances preceding a woman’s self-recorded killing of an ex-boyfriend. The last is a work of speculative fiction set in a Las Vegas hotel suite, where a popular male fantasy finds its ultimate expression.
